Vera Bradley Petal Pink Bowler

Since I live in a small town, I shop online as much as possible. I also shop @ Walmart, but that's another post.

I am very excited about my new Vera Bradley Petal Pink Bowler! $32.10 on eBay including shipping. I love this fabric - it's so preppy & colorful - it immediately puts me in a good mood. The pattern has been retired so eBay is the best option. It is very roomy & has lots of pockets & pouches. Can't wait to carry it a few times before summer is gone.

Antiques - A Good Buy Especially Now

Interesting article from the WSJ on how falling prices on antiques
are drawing in new younger buyers.

I certainly had no interest or real appreciation for antiques when I
was younger. It was the gift of a chest from my husband's great aunt that got me started.

This is my current china cabinet. I would have preferred something
with more interesting fretwork, but the drawers are bow-shaped and it has lots of storage.
Purchased on eBay.
