We headed off to Gatlinburg for the Fourth of July weekend. We stayed in a cabin off Hwy. 321 (Parkway East) and found an entrance (Greenbrier) to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park a few miles down the road. Hwy. 321 goes to Cosby. This park road follows the Middle Fork of the Little Pigeon River. It was not crowded at all & we found a good place to wade. Note: Another area of the park between Elkmont & Wears Valley is also known as Greenbrier.
