This is Ridiculous...

This is usually what you see out my front door these days (and we JUST cleaned the gutters!) I cannot believe how much rain we have had with more on the way. However, it is better than the drought we had a few years ago. Hopefully sunshine will be here soon! Pool opens May 22!

Rain, Rain...

Actually, I am glad it is raining. We've had more rain than last summer, but the last few weeks have been quite dry. Some of the trees in our area have begun to turn & lose leaves, though I'm not sure that is from the lack of rain or the coming change of season.

Obviously we need to clean our gutters! That's a project to complete when Col. Jim Bob gets back from his annual training with the Guard. He is working very hard to get the troops ready just in case they have to deploy again.
