OnlyD & Sweet Boy went on a field trip so Sweet Baby & I went to Booksamillion. I could just spend hours there! I got a few seasonal books on sale & gift ideas for upcoming birthdays.

No Excuse This Time!

Yes, I have four copies of Jan Brett's The Twelve Days of Christmas. I can't plead age or disorganization this time...I knowingly bought all four.


The big book is Jan Brett's Christmas Treasury - a collection of seven of her stories, which is beautifully illustrated. I got a great deal on it @ Marshall's.

The other copies are paperback, board, & small hardback. I am sure I intended to give a few as gifts - the board book is for the grandkids. I need to clear out some of these!

Southern Festival of Books in Nashville, TN

The Southern Festival of Books will return to Nashville's War Memorial Plaza this fall.

Southern Festival of Books hours are:

Friday, October 10 from Noon–6 pm;
Saturday, October 11 from 9 am–6 pm; and
Sunday, October 12 from Noon–5 pm.

I'm so excited!! I love books & reading - I even considered becoming a librarian at one point. There are some great authors scheduled to speak @ this event.

Bargain Book...

The weather has been cooler so this weekend we hit some consignment sales. This book was $4!!! It is in perfect condition and the illustrations are color...Ernest H. Shepherd updated them @ some point. I love Winnie-the-Pooh and all his friends...
